For Over 25 Years

Raiser’s Edge and Education Edge expert Cynthia Cortinas has combined her distinguished technical expertise and consultative training approach to collaborate with dozens of organizations on Blackbaud’s data software products.

Cynthia provides her clients with the tools and knowledge to secure funds and achieve peak performance levels by utilizing all features of the software. She administers data management services, including installations, data conversions, data placement, “moves management” setup, evaluation/mapping, cleanups, updates, patches, training, and reporting unique to each of her client’s needs.

Collaborating With Each Organization to Identify Core Issues

Cynthia implements/integrates software programs, provides technical assistance, delivers in-depth training sessions to client staff/volunteers, and creates customized reports. She inspires and enables each team member not only to gain valuable knowledge but also to communicate with each other and disseminate new ideas throughout the organization.

Never Failing to Exceed Expectations

Cynthia has gained a reputation of excellence throughout the industry. She has grown her client list through the referrals of satisfied customers while engaging in community philanthropic events: benefits, BBQ events, auctions, golf tournaments, and galas. In her spare time, Cynthia has volunteered her time assisting several organizations with fundraising efforts. She is also an avid fisher, hunter, runner, and crafts extraordinaire.

I Originally Began My Consulting Business in 1994

Using the Raiser’s Edge for DOS and Admissions Office version 6. I have grown with the progress of the products to The Raiser’s Edge, Raiser's Edge NXT and Education Software. In addition to my consulting business, from 2003 to 2008, I had the opportunity to become an Of Counsel Consultant with The Dini Partner’s in Houston, TX assisting their clients with The Raiser’s Edge.

Since the start of my business, I have managed up to six part-time employees at one time, assisted my clients with employee proficiency evaluations, the interview process for prospective employees, and constructed a Raiser’s Edge Skills Test for prospective applicants. I have also had the opportunity to volunteer my time for clients as well as non-clients, at numerous fundraising events such as benefit bar-b-que events, auctions, golf tournaments, galas, etc

Through the Years

My consulting business has placed me around a diverse group of people in the Development/Advancement and Admissions/Registrar world including Presidents, CEOs, Development/Advancement Directors, Admission Directors, IT Directors, employees, numerous nonprofit environments, and other consultants like myself. I have written contracts for my services and bid projects against large consulting companies and other independent consultants and retained most of the contracts.

I Am Proficient in the Raiser’s Edge and Education Edge Software.

A large part of my consulting business consists of training. I train from beginner to advance level in both database programs. In addition, I offer database review and cleanup as needed, training in the construction of Custom Crystal Reports, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access Database construction/upkeep, and general computer use.

I enjoy assisting nonprofits in their development activities, training their staff, and ensuring a fine-tuned system so they can focus on fundraising for their cause.
